Centering on medical care, tourism, sports and educational industry, SCIG has been implementing the diversified development strategy put forward by the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and the Sichuan Provincial Government, and has become fully involved in the modern service industry. In cooperation with West China Hospital of Stomatology Sichuan University, it has founded West China Dental Company and has been building the “dental valley” by international standards, aiming to boast 500 dental clinics with a market value of 37 billion in the whole industrial chain by 2025. SCIG has also worked with Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources and the People’s Government of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture to build a poverty relief base through health industry with an investment of 30 billion yuan. SCIG has invested 800 million yuan in co-building Sichuan Tourism Investment Group. In cooperation with Ya’an city, it has boosted its stake in Mengdingshan Tea Industry Company and developed Daxing Tea and Tourism Cultural program to rejuvenate Sichuan’s tea brand. Jiayang Group, which centers on coal and tourism development, has incorporated its industrial legacy of “Jiayang small train” into Suoluo Lake tourism development and complement on Leshan’s tourism program. SCIG’s international tennis center has hosted a series of international events including ITF Junior Masters, ATP125 International Challenger Chengdu and ATP250 Chengdu Open. It aims to build Chengdu into China’s fourth host city of tennis events.
